Hypnotherapy Los Angeles

Mr. Steve and his METHOD of “UNLOCKING YOUR MAGICAL SENSE” does use Hypnotherapy techniques, but to a lesser degree than what would be normally used in medical settings for physical and mental issues. His Certified Hypnotherapist training and years of experience has led to the ability to interpret the client’s subconscious awareness level at the beginning of of each session and therefore can use words, vocal expressions and the like to have the client become more focused in the moment, as is the key to a good hypnotherapy session.

The aspects of Hypnotherapy Mr. Steve utilizes centers on the increased concentration that Mr. Steve wants from the client…..the “focusing” aspect the subconscious is brought to the surface, the hearing is more concentrated.

Learning from the sessions with Mr. Steve on “becoming more focused” can be used to great benefit by the client even after the client is not in sessions, but in everday life.

This METHOD partly is used to bring truthfulness, beliefs and attitudes to the forefront and therefore is an integral part of each session and will truly deepen the resounding effects of the suggested positive affirmations and new attitudes.

It brings closer to the goal of “unlocking your magical sense” and opens the creative aspects of the client’s thoughts and renders a certainty that may not have been there before.

General Hypnotherapy Facts

Hypnotherapy is a heightened state of concentration and focused attention. Guided by a trained Certified Hyphnotherapist, hypnosis or various techniques of hypnosis allows you to be more open to suggestions to making healthful and general changes in your perceptions, sensations, thoughts and behaviours.

What is Hypnosis:

Hypnosis, also called hypnotherapy is a state of deep relaxation and focused concentration…..It is a type of mind-body medicine.

A Certiified Hypnotherapist guides you into or focuses the client on a state of focus and relaxation with verbal cues, repetition and imagery. You become more concentrated on the discussion or guided suggestions and allows you to ignore outside distractions temporarily.

How does Hypnosis work:

Your conscious mind is quieted.
You’re able to tap into the part of your brain where your thoughts, beliefs, perceptions, sensations, emotions, memory and behaviors originate.
In this state, you are more open to gentle guidance from your Hypnotherapist to help you modify or replace your unconscious thoughts that are driving certain unwanted behaviors, beliefs or attitudes.

Not under Control of Hypnotherapist:

Your Certified Hypnotherapist guides hypnosis or certain techniques of hypnosis, but hypnosis is something you do for yourself. You cannot be made to do anything against your will. You will not reveal any information that you wished to remain secret. You do not lose control over your behavior. Hypnosis makes it easier to experience suggestions but does not force you to have certain experiences.

Is Self-Hypnosis possible?

Yes, it is possible to practice self-hypnosis. Deep breathing, imagery, progressive muscle relaxation and mindfulness techniques work very similar to aspects of hypnosis. Your Certified Hypnotherapist can be of significant assistance to you in showing you various techniques and breathing exercises you can do in the privacy of your home.

How Is Working With A Hypnotherapist Different Than Self-Hypnosis?

Working with a certified hypnotherapist provides the advantage of Mr. Steve’s professional knowledge and experience. Mr. Steve can guide you through the METHOD and process, focus on any concerns, and adapt the session to your unique requirements.
